You're absolutely right. Kishimoto does indeed tend to be inconsistent sometimes. It would surprise me though, if she ends up being a Senju, not gonna lie. xD But I think she'll be just fine using the power that she already has. Super strength + Kurama's chakra? Oof, more than enough. xD I wonder what happened to her talent for Genjutsu, though. Kishi should've done something with it.

I agree. Kishi should've built on that over the chapters, but it's not too late. I don't think genjustu will really have an effect where she's at now, but if he does prolong the manga long enough we might can see it in action some other time. Cross your fingers!

What Kishi should have done is had Sakura seek out Kurenai after Team 7's first reunion demonstrated her improved strength was still nothing compared to Sasuke's. I still think it's possible for her to learn Genjutsu - she could very well turn out to be a latent genjutsu super-genius.

YES. I agree that should have happened. Like I said before, I just hope the manga is prolonged enough to where Sakura can actually build on that.

I believe there will be a whole arc after the ten-tails revival arc, with Orochimaru as the final villain of the series.

I believe the same thing. I think the plan was to make Orochimaru the final villain all along even from the start of the series.

What if Sakura REALLY turns out to be a Senju and then we have pairings like these:

Sasuke x Sakura

Hinata x Naruto (If Twin Steps theory about the Hyuugas is correct we can say that the Hyuuga are to the Uchiha what the Uzumaki are to the Senju) and then we would get full power babies with abilities surpassing all of the previous generations xD

Well, it would have been more likely if she was called "Sakura" rather than "Sakura Haruno", that would have left an open window. Kinda like Nagato & Karin, they didn't have the Uzumaki name, but were later revealed to actually be from the uzumaki clan.

In order to have the clans of Konoha have higher trust with each other, Senjus married members of OTHER clans, thus making it so that even if someone had Senju blood, they wouldn't carry the Senju name, sorta like Tsunade.
