NaruHina Month Drabbles

Hinata was singing as she prepared breakfast that morning. She still felt as if she was living in a fantasy world living with the man that she had always loved. Every day she would wonder if she would ever wake up from her wonderful life. She twirled around as she broke an egg into the frying pan. In another pan next to the eggs there were ramen sizzling nicely in a silver pot.

Her humming was drowning from the sounds of the food being fried until eventually she began to tap her feet and start singing. "You are my sunshine: my only sunshine.You make me happy when skys are grey. You'll never know Naruto, how much I love you. Please don't take my sunshine away."

"THAT WAS WONDERFUL!" A loud voice crashed her eardrums and caused her whole body to shake. It was Naruto's voice, and his presence still made her skin a tomato shade.


"Thank you, Hinata."

Hinata froze on the spot and widened her eyes. "What for?"

"I really enjoyed training with you today," Naruto said as he scratched his back. He grinned. "It was really fun. We should do it again, first thing in the morning."

Her heart was racing. "Yes!"

Naruto buried his head in his hands. He had dome his worksheet for science class and he only had thirty minutes till he had to hand it in. He forgot to turn over the other side to do the other questions. Shikamaru gave him no sympathy.

"I can give you the answers if you want," Hinata offered kindly.

"Gee thanks."

Sakura sighed. "Really? Getting the answers from somebody else? That's cheating."

"Good point," Naruto said with his head down. "I don't want to get Hinata into trouble. I guess it's another detention for me."
