Show how important the CPR is to the series, lol.

Gai, his father and Lee gets pretty much all of the cover, this shows that this volume was centered around Gai. ah the butt hurt that is being experienced by NS, this is great.

I am laughing my guts out with Sakura having such a huge moustache, if I was an interviewer and I was interviewing Sakura the first thing I will say is I moustache you a question 

Obviously didn't expect the cpr to get on but did have a huge laugh for the past month seeing all the fanmade ones XD..

Sorry for my ignorance guys, but did NS expect to get a cover showing the CPR? Lol!
The only romantic cover I could imagine with Sakura would be her hugging with Sasuke. A kind of parallel to NH handhold...

The CPR itself wasn't supposed to be on the cover. However, some were expecting Sakura/Karin worrying over Naruto/Sasuke split. In fact, there were quite a few fans who dislike NaruSaku and/or SasuKarin that were expecting some form of split.

While I don't mind some joking over some of the sillier or over the top things pushed by segments of "rival" fans, I'm also mindful of the fact that there are silly things pushed by some people who are fans of the same things I love. I don't like being defined by things I disagree with just because someone else happens to love the same thing I do so I try not to do the same to others.

^Sometimes things become too much emotional and one gets carried away, leading to some silliness... I get what you mean: criticizing NS for using Kishimoto's work (for instance volume covers...) and turning it into something which fits its anti-NH and pro-NS agenda, does not make sense when a part of NH does the same...

Well we can safely say that the CPR was something that needed to be done in a desperate time, but it certainly isn't the most important moment in the story.

that is why the NaruHina handhold was put on the front cover, because it was an important moment, it received more coverage than that of the CPR, which was just Sakura dong her job as a Medic-Ninja, and she did an awesome job at the same time, in a stressful situation she kept her cool and basically played a role in saving Naruto's life. but that sort of action doesn't warrant a front cover.

Well, the girlfriend comment didn't get a cover wither, so yeah.
