NaruHina! Flaws resolved

Well, Hello again as you all know i'm a proud NaruHina fan, but I've had another question too, well actually i have a lot that maybe I'll be posting from time to time.

Dunno if a thread has already been made feel free to move it or delete it, if it was already done.
We all know that Naruto is perfect for Hinata and Hinata is perfect for Naruto and we've seen how much they have grown through all the series.

OKay how to say it ... at first i thought dunno if any other person too, that the story of Naruto was totally lame and there are still a lot of things that are lame (in my opnion) and don't even have armony to each, I think if it wasn't thanks to NaruHina the story wouldn't even have much to give...

I mean a good boy that has a pure heart, innocent smile, but too hyperactive wanting to be Hokage.. well so..so I thought yeah he can do it, then it came the thing that irked me so..so,
that Naruto was in love with a girl that didn't even batch an eye at him, I thought.. "Greeeeat... just another story where this boy is in love with this girl but will never love him" I assure you i got discouraged... but then there appeared a little light of hope.. i thought "Hey there is a girl that thinks about him.." but... she was so painfully shy, that i thought "damnit... this is hard.", and yeah.. got discouraged again.. after that We've seen how she(Hinata) got the courage to approach him(Naruto), and that got me kind of pumped, 'cause only the person that really wants to be with the other does.. so yeah she was kind of shy but never ever stopped trying to get him to see her.
(That's another thing that irks me you know? sorry for getting sidetracked but a lot of people put sweet Hinata like she never gets the courage to even say Hello to Naruto when they've been proven wrong so many times and that's what makes them pair her to another person bah, as if!).

Then Naruto said shy, dark, weird girl so i was guh.. but then he got amazed by her, and maybe he even started to have a little crush on her.
So yeah there were 2 flaws there but those flaws were resolved.

I think some flaws are that yeah Naruto right now as you've seen is like he's avoiding to tell his feelings, and for a good reason with the war and the fights going on.. uff so much to think, so much to do, but i think that he should kind of give himself a little break you know?

I hated that Naruto made that promise to Sak. you know? the promise of a lifetime and I assure you that I still hate it, cause it made Naruto look like a gay.
I mean come on yeah we've all had problems with friends and so, but that made him weak and u can't say it didn't cause it was true that promise put a lot of pressure on him, then Akatsuki, then the fights, the war, ufff everything. I think that was a mayor flaw in himself.

So yeah thanks to his determination to never give up to push ahead even when everything's against him is what makes him perfect, 'cause u won't find a lot of people like that in this time, and thanks to that he(Naruto) got himself an amazing woman(Hinata), withouth him even noticing, another flaw, he needs to give himself time to look around and notice things faster, another mayor flaw but now we can say he's more insightful if not he wouldn't even still notice Hinata, nor be protective of her. But we know and love how he was,is and will be.

As for Hinata.
Yeah well what can I say, not much really, she at first was shy, that's so true, but she was determined to get noticed,accepted, loved by the one she cherised the most(Naruto), thanks to that she got more confident, more beautiful, but i think dunno.. that she should be a little more possesive of him(Naruto), i think this's a flaw dunno... but we know and love how she was,is and will be.

Well the promise of a lifetime was because he knew that Sakura loves Sasuke, he made that promise to help comfort Sakura in a sense, it didn't make him look gay, it made him look like someone who can be counted on when someone needed it the most, it just meant that his nice guy personality was somewhat of a flaw, since he couldn't say no to people that needed help.

as for Hinata her biggest flaw was the feeling of inadequacy, her lack of self esteem almost led her to take the wrong path.

so in effect their flaws led them to one another, Hinata needed a pillar of strength, to which she could gain inspiration and grow as a character, while with Naruto he had the tendancy to doubt his own abilities and himself, this is where Hinata comes into it, she is able to encourage Naruto and support him when he needs it the most.

So overall they seem to compliment each other nicely.

The Promise of a Lifetime was one of the best Naruto moments of the entire series. It was one of several moments in this series that demonstrated his maturity since the beginning of the series.

OK i admit i kinda phrased it wrong or you got it all wrong xD what i mean was not that when he made the promise made him look gay, cause this was one of the most deciding factors for NaruHina to come alive, but i mean that everything that he did, was only think in you know and sometimes it really disturbed me

Naruto tends to do things for his own benefit. Naruto wanted to be Hokage because he wanted people to look up to him. Naruto wanted people to pay attention to him (hence his pranks). Now, Naruto does have justifiable reasons for having his outlook, but he definitely wasn't doing things for Sakura's sake (at least, not without his own reasons--sometimes doing something for another person also benefits yourself).

Now, as Naruto just recently mentioned, he wants to protect everyone but it's a selfish desire because now that he's been acknowledged, he doesn't want to lose his friends and people who care for him.

As an aside, I actually like the fact that Kishimoto does highlight the fact that a person can be both selfish and selfless at the same time.

I see it so: 1) either you enjoy the story the way it has been written and tries to understand it although it does not always fit to your own conception of things, or 2) you read the story through personal wishes and own conception of things.

The problem with the second one is that it might lead to disappointment and some misunderstandings... For instance, the POAL's issue and Naruto "look like a gay" thing is really exaggerated, no offense. Regarding that issue, the replies you've got above are spot on.
