Jiraya's Love Story Books
Have you ever wonder, what so interesting in his books, that Kakashi just can't stop reading every time when he has a chance?
I was just thinking, that what if he wrote the love story similar to NaruHina relationships? About a sweet and shy girl, who found inspiration and determination from a boy, who would be blind until some point, when he finally realizes the meaning of true love and will notice the girl, who have changed so much thanks to him. And then they lived happily ever after.
It's just that NaruHina is what made us gather together on this site and we all would agree, that their love sub-story is very interesting and intriguing, that if it was made as a book, we wouldn't stop reading this love story until very end of it. So it makes me think, that Jiraiya wrote something similar to it or else his books wouldn't be so succesfull I guess.
It would be amazing, that if at the end of the manga it will be revealed, that main characters of Jiraiya's books are called Naruto and Hinata. That would be something really awesome.
Just imagine, we have some so long awaited NaruHina moment in manga (after the war) and when we witnessed it fully, there will be a few pages, where Kakashi is reading ending of the final book and it describes exactly what have happened a few pages ago with NaruHina moment. Like if Jiraiya predicted such finale for this couple.

Isn't it porn? That's probably why it has it's readers hooked. :P
It'd be awesome if Kakashi started writing his own book later on based on his and his students lives though, except a bit more adult-oriented lol.

That's an interesting thought GreatKungLao!
@SenpaiSamaSan Kakashi writing a book would be nice too. He's a kind of romantic dreamer and with his incredible sense of observation, I'm sure he has already enough love stories he witnessed in his head.
Indeed he could write a kind of ero-romance story or stories...

Re: Jiraya's Love Story Books
There was one very interesting theory on Russian forum about books and Naruto.
One reader said, that it would be cool if at the end of Naruto, when the main plot has ended, the latest moments of it transforms into a book and then this book been closed by mature Naruto, dressed like sage and him been reading this book to his kids. He meant, that at the end Naruto will release a series of books, which will tell about his life. Jiraya tried to change the world through books, so why Naruto wouldn't try the same?

That's a very interesting idea too but I don't know why, I can not imagine Naruto writing a book or books. Like SenpaiSamaSan suggested, Kakashi would be good for that role.

Re: Jiraya's Love Story Books
Well i remember on NB seeing a thread where kishimoto wrote a book that was suppose to tell what jiryia's book had told...and it ended in a NS way.

That makes sense if you think about it. Of course Jiraiya's book would have ended either JT/NS because that's what his life was about really.
He didn't plan to die alone.

It wasn't Kishimoto, if I remember correctly. Some other author wrote the novel that was supposed to be Jiraiya's "The Legend of the Gutsy Ninja", and it indeed ended with the main character, Naruto, ending up with the girl who was all throughout the series in love with another boy (much like Sakura and Sasuke). Or something along those lines. Not that it makes any difference.
At topic, well, I seriously doubt Hinata would want to have her love story written in a porn book. XD

^ LOL! Oh, I know you wouldn't. XD I wouldn't mind either. But I can't imagine Hinata's reaction to being the main character in a porn book.

Didn't Naruto help edit/write one of Jiraiya's books just before they returned home from their training trip?

^ Not that I can remember. Jiraiya asked for Naruto to read them, but Naruto always found them boring and uninteresting. He even said so to Kakashi when he gave him Jiraiya's new book after he came back from his 2 and a half years of training. XD

I don't know if it was canon or not but naruto DID write a book posing as jiraiya as part of a bet between them and it sold well.
The joke was that a 12 year old could write just as well if not better than jiraiya could.

That was filler but it was still a good episode My definition of cannon would allow for it to be cannon. I have no issues with filler being cannon so long as it does not contradict the manga or open up the manga for contradiction. So some filler material is ok to me but most of the movie material is not. think that was episode 177 "please Mr.postman!" one of the better comedy fillers.

That one is most definitely not cannon. I hate damned near the whole adventures at sea arc. They should have just made a second hidden leaf history arc if they had to do filler at that point. Instead we got a horrible One Piece knock off for 20 episodes. 232, 234 and 236 were about the only enjoyable episodes from that entire arc for me. 236 contradicted way to many things and was too much against Naruto's and Jiraiya's character to even be considered cannon. Jiraiya pursued Tsunade damned near til the day he died. While Naruto might not be sure about who he loves at this point he is not the type to not pursue a goal even if he knows he might get rejected. For proof look how many times Sakura beat him up in part one for pursuing her. Naruto truly takes after Ero Sannin in to many ways.

Oh I'm totally over that episode in the adventures at sea arc! It's not like I have a list of names and a ticket to Japan on my desk or anything!
Wouldn't it be an awful shame if the anime team in charge of those episodes disappeared? You know? But it's a dangerous world, things happen....
