It's funny how Naruto keeps referencing Hinata's speeches to him:

Naruto to Neji "Because you called me a loser" = proud failure speech

Naruto to Obito & Lee "I keep my friends here *points at heart*" = Hinata's speech to keep your friends in your heart.

Naruto to Obito & everyone else "Maybe I'm just being selfish. = Hinata's confession

but we all know Sakura has a much greater impact on Naruto... It hurts too.

I actually really like how NH is so untainted Naruto's goals involving Sasuke. It shows its strong enough on its own, without needing a third person to keep pushing them together.

I remember how I was a filler-addict in part 1 because of the huge amount of NH... during that time, I thought NH was 60% crack, 30% goodness, 8% cuteness, and 2% lolz.

I still remember pairing debates back then...... "Oi, use canon panels! NaruHina fillers don't count!"

There was a dark time for NH indeed..
but those fillers were damn good! I'd love to see some more NH fillers now in Shippuden though (might as well, considering we are down in fillers now)
I remember those arguments well. I used to look up NH amvs back in the day before Shippuden, and all in the NaruHina comments of those amvs people would be yelling at NH shippers that "Fillers don't count"

Lol you actually cared about pairing back in the days? Lol I remember I didn't even care .. I saw the NH thing in part 1 and I didn't even realize they're there for pairing purposes .. Though it was probably maybe because I was only in grade 3 XD

I think I cared even more for pairings in part 1 than in part 2, to be honest. I care about character development more now than pairings. It is funny how the roles have been reversed in NH and NS. Justice.

I really didn't care that much about pairings in Part I. Back then, I cared a lot more about the plot as a whole, and seriously just thought it was a given that Naruto and Hinata would end up together when they were older. Going on the Internet and discovering that a lot of people believed they would never be together was a bit of a surprise for me, LOL.
